The Marlborough Wine Show reviews and assesses wines produced from a minimum of 95% Marlborough grapes, using three panels of experienced judges led by Chair, Jack Glover and rewards top-performing wines with trophies, gold, silver and bronze medals. The show provides a relevant, credible platform for producers to promote their wines and is also a celebration of excellence – not only of the wines, but of the Marlborough industry as a whole.

Some of the more mature markets such as the UK, Australia and pockets of the United States are demanding stories – competitive points of difference at both brand and regional level to discover what more there is to discover in wines from Marlborough. Their customers know about Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and are thirsty for more information, the next chapter. The Marlborough Wine Show is a very cost-effective way of telling this story from a regional perspective and provides the ideal platform for producers to promote their brand’s provenance as well as showcase style diversity within Sauvignon Blanc and the region’s other varietals.
